For the last 2 years, I have been lusting over all of the gorgeous thigh-high boots that line the racks of my favorite shoe stores each fall and winter. They look so sexy and chic, but I’ve never been confident enough to buy a pair for fear they will just collect dust in my closet like my ankle boots.
But 2015 is about taking risks, and while my wallet would prefer I didn’t add anymore footwear to my ever-expanding collection, I’m determined to embrace new fashion trends instead of shying away from them like I usually do.
So I’ve been paying attention to what I see online and in magazines, and while celebrities are a great resource for teaching me the dos and don’ts of fashion, I wanted some more practical advice before I took the plunge, and ended up stumbling across these great tips on POPSUGAR Fashion, which have taught me how to wear thigh high boots PROPERLY.
This is a really short segment, but Allison gave me some great pointers – especially when it comes to wearing over-the-knee boots with mini skirts. I think I’ll leave that trend to the stars!
